Cars, gaming, and technology. These are the three key subjects that sum up the June 2017 issue of HWM Philippines. Starting off with cars, we present representatives of the two extremes of the auto spectrum: this issue features the 2017 edition of the Toyota Wigo, a mini hatchback ideal for first-time car buyers like students and young professionals, and we also have the Bentley Continental Supersports, an epitome of a luxury coupe perfect for the high-flyers. We have back-to-back Spotlight stories focusing on the two gaming events that took place at the same time, one highlighting the happenings of this year’s Pinoy Gaming Festival at Trinoma and the other goes to some of the details of GG@Cyberzone at SM City North EDSA. Still for gamers, we have reviews of the AMD Ryzen 7 1700, ASUS ROG Strix Z270i, ASUS ROG Strix RX 580 8GB, and the ASUS Vivo V221 Series AiO PC. For our cover and cover story, our issue is honorably graced by NBA superstar Stephen Curry together with the newly launched Vivo V5s smartphone which also joins the powerful roster of smartphones that make up our two Shootout stories. In our first Shootout, we pitted against each other some of the newest and most capable smartphones out there, namely the ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom, Huawei P10 Plus, LG G6, OPPO F3 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8+, and the Sony Xperia XZs. Following is a Shootout of four of the most high-endurance smartphones available at the moment: the ASUS ZenFone 3, Moto Z Play, OPPO R9s, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The procession of smartphones doesn’t stop there. We also have features and reviews of the OPPO F3, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, Sony Xperia XA1, and the SuperD D1. We promise that there is a lot more in store for you, so we encourage you to start getting your copy and read on!
