Krator is a 2-year old Taiwanese company under the KWorld Group. The name ‘Krator’ is derived from “impact-crater” that leaves large impressions similar to what we see on the moon. With the debut of the company and its audio products in the Philippines, they hope to create a large impact in local market with innovative audio products that offer quality sound at competitive price points.
New Products to Tickle Your Auditory Senses
Krator brings to table four products that they deem would allow them to establish a presence in the market through the unconventional and stylish design that does not compromise sound quality. Consumers will also be surprised (as were we) at the price tags of these very capable audio systems. Furthermore, all the showcased products are now available at PC Chain outlets, with more stores soon to carry the brand.
High End Systems
The Neso 02 N2-21030 is one of the high-end models that Krator will be debuting in the local market. It is a 3-piece wood speaker system with two satellites and one subwoofer. It features a solid 9mm-thick MDF wood board cabinet for its subwoofer with a 5.25-inch long-throw driver for incredible bass power, while its satellites each have 2.5-inch drivers. It can deliver up to 30 watts RMS of output power and includes controls for Volume, Bass, and Treble. It is priced at PhP 3,995.
Next is the Neso 04 N4-21035 which is also one of their latest models. It sports a modern elegant design to let it fit better in the modern living space. It is made of high quality ABS plastic making it sturdy and more robust than most speakers in its class. Delivering up to 35 watts RMS of sound output, the sleek subwoofer unit is able to provide explosive bass through a 4-inch long-throw, down-firing driver unit. Its satellites utilize 1-inch Mylar and its 3-inch Fiber unit driver for crystal clear highs and warm bass with good resonance. The price tag is also PhP 3,995.
Midrange System
For the midrange segment, Krator offers the Neso 04 N4-21U26. It is claimed to being the most powerful USB-powered speaker currently available in the market, able to deliver up to 25 watts RMS of audio bliss. It also features an elegant ABS plastic body and will be available in either black or white. It utilizes a 4-inch long-throw driver unit to deliver powerful bass while its satellites feature 1-inch Mylar and 3-inch paper dome drivers for high and midrange clarity. The Neso 04 N4-21U26 is priced at PhP 2,400.
Entry Level
The last but not the least, Krator also included an entry level model, the Neso 04 N4-20U05. Able to deliver 5 watts RMS of power, these speakers are a perfect sound solution for portable media players or as standard speakers for home desktops. Its costs PhP 700.
