Mercedes-Benz GLA: Salute to strength and astute styling
Continuation of tradition
Showcasing a sharpened front section, the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA’s front apron presents a more dynamic shape with new air intake grilles and front splitter insert in silver chrome plus flics in high-gloss black. Both the front and the tail end of GLA are now equipped with bright yet energy-efficient LED High Performance headlamps.
For enhanced styling, the multi-spoke 20-inch light-alloy wheel is available in two color variants: matte black with high-sheen rim flange and titanium grey with high-sheen finish.
The astute design of the new GLA is not only meant for aesthetics, but also for good aerodynamics. This, along with a variety of optimizations such as the use of LED headlamps, results in lowered fuel consumption of 7.4L per 100 kilometers, reinforcing Mercedes-Benz’s pioneering role where efficiency is concerned.
At the core of the Mercedes-Benz GLA beats a 2.0L four-cylinder turbo engine that delivers a maximum output of 280kW (381hp) at 6000rpm and a maximum torque of 475Nm at 2250-5000rpm, putting it in the league of the most powerful cars in its segment. A speed of 100kph is achieved from standstill in just 4.4 seconds.
