MSI X-Slim Notebook Glitters At CeBIT

.jpg;pv736e0db4ddc9c306) Manila, Philippines -- Simply light and charming! MSI X-Slim series, a milestone product in notebook history, was a phenomenon at CeBIT in Germany. One of its models, the X340, attracted a large number of visitors, including the chairman and top managers of MSI’s main competitor, ASUSTek. The bosses from ASUSTek visited the MSI booth, and showed appreciation to the elegant exterior and technical design of the flagship notebook.
Weighing 1.3kg with battery, and measuring 6mm at its thinnest and 1.98cm at its thickest, the X340 is the first 13-inch notebook equipped with a 16:9 widescreen display.
The X series embraces a “Light, Slim & Aesthetic” design concept and features the most advanced power-saving and multimedia technology.
With a total power consumption that’s merely one sixth of other notebook PCs in the market, X340 makes use of Intel Core 2 Solo CPU, providing users with seamless performance along with power saving advantage.
The X340 also comes with complete multimedia features, including full I/O ports, HDMI port, and Blu-Ray support. For network connectivity, the X340 supports 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth connection, and optional WiMAX modules.
“The idea of light, slim and aesthetic has become a trend, which influence users’ purchasing behavior. MSI will continue leading the pack with the X340 and expand the X-Slim series with more innovations,” said Joseph Hsu, president of MSI.
