Manila, Philippines -- Held yesterday at A. Venue, Makati City, the Filipino fiesta themed Canon Smile Expo ’09 kicked off the annual Canon ImageNation celebration. The expo introduced 33 new products from Canon’s lines of digital camera, digital video camcorder, printer, and copier, giving consumers 33 more reasons to smile. The Canon ImageNation is a yearly event that provides various consumers an opportunity for up-close interaction with the latest top-of-the-line Canon technology.

Amongst introduced were: PowerShot cameras namely the A480, SX200 IS, D10, A2100, and A1100 IS; IXUS cameras such as the IXUS 110 IS, IXUS 100, and IXUS 95 IS; the new SELPHY CP780 Compact Photo Printer; PhotoDV camcorders DC410 and DC420; VIXIA camcorders FS21, FS22, and FS200; and PIXMA printers such as the MX328, MX338, MX868, PIXMA Pro 9000 Mark II, and Pro 9500 Mark II.

Apart from these new offerings, there is much to smile about with Canon. The Canon ImageNation Smile Tour ‘09 visits various SM malls nationwide starting today, March 12, 2009. Check out the new Canon products firsthand and enjoy special Canon promos. The smiling begins on March 12-25, 2009 at the SM Mall of Asia and will spread to other SM malls on the following dates: SM Cebu: March 23 – April 5; SM Pampanga: March 26-April 8; SM Davao: April 9-22; SM Megamall: April 23-May 6; SM North EDSA: May 14-27.
