Emerson Network Power Promotes Tay Chee Khiam To Sales Director Of Knurr Racks And Enclosures In Southeast Asia
On another note, Emerson Network Power also announced the promotion of Tay Chee Khiam to sales director of Knurr racks and enclosures in Southeast Asia.
Emerson’s Knurr racks are lightweight, durable and flexible rack and enclosure systems with integrated thermal management and monitoring, designed for adaptive IT and telecommunications environments.
In this role, Chee Khiam will be responsible for driving awareness on the importance of racks and enclosures as building blocks in a reliable IT infrastructure. “Racks are considered as ‘solutions’ that contribute in creating a high level of flexibility and management,” says Chee Khiam.
According to him, a big percentage of the IT managers and business decision makers nowadays are aware of the importance of racks for their data centres but most often settle for an improvised structure to cut costs.
“Equipment is worth millions of dollars and therefore should be managed, maintained and organised well within an infrastructure that provides security, cooling and efficient power requirement,” says Chee Khiam.
Knurr racks and enclosures come with high-end features and standardised options to provide fast customisation for individual business needs. Emerson Network Power also appoints local experts to address the concerns of the clients in the region.
“Emerson Network Power has a highly technical and well-trained team knowledgeable on the Knurr solutions to help our channel partners in the region address their needs. Emerson is committed to extending the life of the products they offer and thereby we are committed to improving the facilities to make that possible,” adds Chee Khiam.
Chee Khiam has a rich experience of 16 years with Knurr racks and enclosures. He is currently based in Singapore.
