Manila, Philippines -- Epson has introduced three of its latest projectors at the Epson MIP (Most Innovative Projectors) “Ultra” Projector Launch:
– The revolutionary EB-450wi ultra short throw interactive projector; – The highly practical EB-85H/825H/826WH (EB-8 series) multimedia projectors; and – The ultra-bright and powerful EB-Z8050W
During the Men in Black-inspired product launch held at the SMX Convention Center, Epson showed yet again why it has become the #1 projector maker for ten straight years now. The company underscored the sheer power and performance of these new machines, which makes use of the dynamic 3LCD technology, through three separate vignettes that highlighted each projector’s edge over other brands in the industry. Epson EB-Z8050W - The Ultra-bright And Powerful Projector

Epson EB-450Wi - The Ultra-innovative, Ultra-interactive, Ultra-short Throw Projector
The EB-450wi is an intelligent, ultra short throw interactive projector that allows teachers and business presenters to conveniently turn any standard whiteboard or any smooth, flat surface into an interactive learning and presentation area. It offers interactivity through a digital infrared pen that allows users to write with “virtual” ink on the projected area, manipulate interactive onscreen objects and features, or use it as a computer mouse.

Epson EB-8 Series (EB-85H/825H/826WH) - The Ultra-practical Business Projector Line
The EB-8 series is designed for practicality, with its wide array of business-friendly features such as cable-free projections (from wirelessly networked computers using optional wireless adapters), network control, and projection of JPG image files stored in flash drives or PCs using their USB ports. It also has lower power consumption costs, thanks to Epson’s proprietary E-TORL lamp, which is 20% more energy efficient and has an industry leading standby power consumption of only 0.4 watts.

Epson: Top Projector Maker Of The Decade
For the 10 years from 2000 to 2009, Epson achieved the top market share of 16.1% in the global projector market, over twice the volume sold by its closest ranked competitor. This accomplishment was confirmed with recent data released from specialist electronics research company FutureSource Consulting. The data also revealed that Epson had achieved its ninth straight year of attaining the no. 1 share ranking in the worldwide digital projector market of 20.8% for 2009. Epson has held this leading position since 2001.
In the Asia Pacific region (excluding Japan) for 2009, Epson’s 3LCD projectors have experienced a healthy unit sales growth of 18.4% from 2008 to 2009, despite the global recession during the period, and achieved the top market share of 13%.

3LCD: Top Projector Technology Of The Decade
