Tablets: The Wacom Way

Every so often, Wacom releases a new product to refresh the company's existing lineup of pen and tablet devices to incorporate new trends and technologies. Wacom's latest devices are centered around this principle as they unveil their new products, the Bamboo Pen and Touch, Bamboo Fun, Bamboo Pen, and the massive Cintiq 24HD.

Bamboo Pen and Tablet Combo

First on the floor were the 3rd generation Bamboo tablets comprised of the Bamboo Fun, Bamboo Pen, and the Bamboo Pen and Touch. The new Bamboo tablets feature a completely redesigned body that utilizes a color combination of lime green and black for a more aesthetically-pleasing look. The Bamboo Pen and Touch is the first of its kind because, aside from the usual pen, users will also be able to navigate their computing through touch and gestures, and express keys not unlike navigating a tablet device or smartphone. This new pen and tablet package is also fully capable of going wireless, allowing an artist to utilize the tablet in any angle and away from the desktop. The inspiration for the Bamboo Pen and Touch comes from the modern lifestyle that demands not only functionality but comfort and style as well.
