Event: Christmas In October – Sony Launches 2011 Holiday Portfolio And Campaign

Sony-flavored Holidays In The Home

If You Love Christmas, You’ll Love Sony

Already one of the most trusted and most aspired-for consumer electronics brands in the market, Sony Philippines is looking to up the ante further this holiday season with the introduction of a widely varied selection of products, introduced alongside a three-day promo scheduled for later this month (more on this later). The event was held earlier today at the Harbor Tent, Sofitel Plaza in Manila.

Sony-flavored Holidays In The Home

Let’s begin with Sony’s major offerings for the home entertainment buff, a new BRAVIA Internet TV and a special PlayStation 3 Bundle.

Want to experience a larger-than-life holiday experience? Leave it to the new Sony BRAVIA KDL-65HX925 to blow your mind. With an impressive 65-inch, Gorilla Glass panel, it’s currently the largest Internet-enabled TV to date. Of course, it doesn’t disappoint in its main role as a TV, thanks to brilliant Full HD (1080p) picture quality delivered by Sony’s Intelligent Peak LED backlight, as well as smoothly rendered motions and transitions by way of Sony’s MotionFlow XR960. Do we also need to mention that it’s ready for 3D? And not just any type of 3D; with the advanced X-Reality PRO Engine, even 3D-rendered images are delivered in crisp and stunning high definition. (Pricing details for this new Sony BRAVIA are unavailable at the moment.)

Since basketball fans don’t quite have an NBA season to follow at this point due to the league’s lockout, why not make your very own? Sony can help you make it happen by offering a special PlayStation 3 bundle, featuring the newly released NBA 2K12 title. On its own, the PS3 game retails for PhP 2,799, but the “NBA 2K12-PlayStation 3 Bundle Pack” will be available for a starting SRP of PhP 19,798 (320GB HDD). Buyers can also opt to add an additional DUALSHOCK controller or a PlayStation Move motion controller.
