Persistent Growth

Being a proud Filipino technology company with a global mindset, RedFox Technologies has been a pioneer in introducing new innovations that cater to the needs of various markets since 1988. Last year, RedFox brought in the country the first Filipino-branded tablet that runs on Windows 7. Apart from concept stores and service centers in the Philippines, RedFox has also established its presence in the region by putting up facilities in Singapore, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Recently, RedFox invited us to an intimate gathering where they revealed some of their products that are scheduled to be launched sometime in Q4 this year. The affair was held at their office in Quezon City.

Today’s Vengeance

Before the presentation, the folks at RedFox introduced us to some of its most powerful products under the Vengeance lineup, a series of desktop PCs that has been associated with RedFox.

Considerably the alpha male of RedFox’s Vengeance pack is the Intense gaming rig. Powered by a 3.3GHz Phenom II X6 1055T processor, the Intense runs on an 890GX-based motherboard with 8GB DDR3, 1TB SATA HDD, and an AMD Radeon HD 5770 discrete graphics. Harnessing AMD’s Eyefinity technology, the Intense comes with three 22-inch LCD monitors.

The Vengeance Evo G502 is an AMD 790G-based rig that runs on 3GHz Phenom II X4 945 processor, together with 4GB DDR3, 1TB SATA HDD, and an AMD Radeon HD 4650 graphics card. The whole setup comes with a 21.6-inch LCD and a durable spill-proof keyboard.

A notch below the G502 is the Vengeance Evo G402. Within, this desktop system operates on an AMD 770-based platform with 3.2GHz AMD Phenom II X2 chip, 2GB DDR2, 500GB SATA HDD, and an AMD Radeon HD 4650. RedFox bundles the G402 with a 20.2-inch LCD monitor and a spill-proof keyboard.

Doubling the Intensity

This coming Q4 of 2011, RedFox is slated to roll out its next generation of Intensity desktops. Under the Vengeance series, the most powerful Intensity 2 rig will harness an eight-core AMD Bulldozer processor on a 990FX-based motherboard. RedFox adds to its mindboggling specs by throwing in the mix 16GB DDR3, 4TB SATA HDD, and a Radeon HD 6970 graphics card.

Still part of the Vengeance series, the Commander is an all-in-one Windows 7 PC that incorporates a 23-inch touchscreen full HD display. Within its slim confines, this setup leverages on AMD’s A8-3800 APU and an A75-based motherboard. It also comes generous in terms of memory and storage, having 8GB DDR3 and 2TB SATA HDD.

RedFox WizPad WP1020i

Part of RedFox’s next generation of WizPad offerings, the WP1020i is partially a convertible tablet. Powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 CPU with 2GB RAM, the WP1020i features a foldable handle that doubles as the tablet’s stand. Pair it with a Bluetooth keyboard (the pictured one comes from RedFox) and what you’ll get a netbook in an instant. The projected price of the WP1020i is around PhP 30,000, whereas its Android-powered sibling may hit around the PhP 25,000 price mark.
