Event: Speed Thrills – The Samsung Series 7 Chronos Blazes Into Local Notebook Scene
Built For Speed And Dressed To Impress

Slow and steady may win the race for some, but if you ask Samsung, for high performance mobile computing, speed is what you need. With that, the Korean consumer technology giant introduced last Thursday evening its latest notebook for Filipino consumers, the Samsung Series 7 Chronos.

Built for speed and dressed to impress, the Samsung Series 7 Chronos (700Z4A-S02PH) notebook packs in an Intel Core i5-2430M (2.4GHz, with 3MB L3 cache) along with 6GB DDR3 (1333MHz) RAM, 1GB AMD Radeon HD6750M graphics, a 750GB SATA II HDD with ExpressCache (8GB) technology, and a 9.5mm slot-loading Super Multi dual-layer optical drive – all adding up to create a high-performance, ready-for-anything machine designed to keep up with the modern user’s everyday computing needs.
Also among the Series 7 Chronos’ primary selling points is its Max Screen design, which allows the device to offer 14.9 inches (1600 x 900) of screen space in a form factor which typically houses only a 14-inch screen. The enlarged display makes for an ideal complement to the Series 7’s otherwise minimalist yet elegant brushed aluminum chassis. For connectivity, the Series 7 Chronos has a pair of USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port, and supports Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 HS.

Shipping with Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium for its OS, the Samsung Series 7 Chronos will be available with a suggested retail price of PhP 59,900.
