Ideal for students and non-techie parents, HP’s new Wi-Fi-enabled printers (5525, 4625, and 3525), are easy to set up and allow for direct printing from Internet-connected devices like smartphones and tablets via Wireless Direct, even without the presence of a computer or a Wi-Fi router. With a wireless setup, HP’s new printers can make a home or a work environment free from clutter and snaking cables. Users are also enabled to print from anywhere through a cloud-based email address with the help of HP’s proprietary ePrint technology.
HP printers produce colors that are excellent and can work with a variety of media including ultrathin paper. In addition, the new printers utilize cost-efficient ink cartridges that can produce up to 600 pages for the price of PhP 390. The low price offering is part of HP’s advocacy that urges consumers to switch to buying original ink cartridges. Based on studies, the use of fake ink cartridges hastens printer failure. While fake ink cartridges are cheaper than the original ones, the time and money spent on having a malfunctioning printer repaired can be tremendous. HP’s new printers are reasonably priced, ranging from PhP 4,490 to PhP 7,790.
