ASRock has just held its local launch of its latest Intel 9 series motherboards. These motherboards pack ASRock’s Super Alloy technology, which consists of 12K platinum capacitors, NexFET and dual-stack MOSFETs, premium alloy chokes, and XXL aluminum alloy heatsinks.

First spotted at Computex 2014 last June, the X99 Extreme4 motherboard is now the world's first Windows 8.1-certified motherboard with Intel X99 chipset, according to ASRock's claim. The board is compatible with Intel Haswell-E CPUs and DDR4 RAMs.

Three new motherboards are added to ASUS ROG's wide selection of motherboards. Introduced at Computex are the Intel Z97-based Maximus VII Formula and the Maximus VII Impact, and the Crossblade Ranger, an AMD FM2+ motherboard.

At Computex 2014, MSI has introduced a new line of motherboards, namely the Eco. Models in this series can consume less power by disabling onboard components when not in use. MSI also showed its motherboards equipped with the Intel X99 chipset and USB 3.1 ports.
