Collaborating with OCZ/Toshiba, AMD announced its foray into the storage market by introducing its Radeon R7 solid-state drives. The new SSDs will be available in 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB storage capacities.
Aiming to expand its presence in the Southeast Asian region, China-based Kimtigo is bringing its products to the region, including the KTA-350 SSD. It is available in storage capacities of up to 480GB and promises fast performance.

Aiming to expand its footprint in the enterprise storage space, SanDisk recently announced its acquisition of enterprise storage firm Fusion-io to the tune of US$1.1 billion. Fusion-io's biggest clients include Apple and Facebook.
