<p>Apart from its established portfolio of reliable <a href="http://www.hardwarezone.com.ph/search/articles/thinkpad" target="_blank">ThinkPad notebook offerings</a>, <a href="http://www.hardwarezone.com.ph/search/all/lenovo" target="_blank">Lenovo</a> also has a range of desktop solutions for the <a href="http://www.hardwarezone.com.ph/search/all/sme" target="_blank">small and medium enterprise (SME) segment</a>, part of which is the ThinkCentre Edge 91z. An All-In-One (AIO) PC solution, the ThinkCentre Edge 91z (model&nbsp;7074B8A) is powered by a quad-core Intel Core i5-2400S processor clocked at 2.5GHz and leverages on a platform based on the <a href="http://www.intel.com/cd/products/services/emea/eng/chipsets/ec-b65/overview/468252.htm" target="_blank">Intel B65 Express chipset</a>. While we rarely hear of the B65, it is interesting to learn that it is still a member of the Cougar Point family of chipsets &ndash; the likes of the H61, <a href="http://www.hardwarezone.com.ph/feature-intel-p67-roundup-mainstream-invasion" target="_blank">P67</a>, <a href="http://www.hardwarezone.com.ph/feature-intel-h67-motherboard-roundup-four-kind" target="_blank">H67</a>, and the <a href="http://www.hardwarezone.com.ph/feature-intel-z68-true-sandy-bridge-chipset" target="_blank">Z68</a> &ndash; all of which are designed to support <a href="http://www.hardwarezone.com.ph/feature-intels-sandy-bridge-next-gen" target="_blank">Sandy Bridge</a> processors. Hence, the B65 retains the attributes of its siblings, except that it is specified by Intel as a business solution.</p>

<p>Quite surprising for a compact AIO PC, the Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 91z comes with a huge packaging. The box&rsquo;s size is as huge as that of a desktop chassis. While you might say that it is a waste of space, it is actually for the good. What mainly occupy the box are polystrene foams that protect the unit from shock and vibration during shipping.</p>

<p>One quick look at it, the ThinkCentre Edge 91z appears like a 21.5-inch tablet with feet. Nevertheless, the display, featuring a full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution, is non-touchscreen and bordered by a thick black frame. The actual viewable area and the frame are both embedded underneath a glossy glass panel. Sadly, this choice of material makes ThinkCentre Edge 91z prone to ambient light glare. The entire unit is supported by a built-in stand, which makes the AIO PC poise like a big picture frame as well. Since almost everything is integrated to the ThinkCentre Edge 91z, setting up the entire unit is just a breeze. Simply find a spot in your home or office where you can conveniently place a monitor, keyboard, and a mouse. Voila! That place will be good enough to accommodate your entire AIO PC setup.</p>

<p class="rteleft">Lenovo has bundled the ThinkCentre Edge 91z with a keyboard and a mouse (Lenovo Ultraslim Plus Wireless Keyboard and Mouse). These accessories communicate with the AIO PC through a micro receiver that is attached to a USB port at the back and uses the 2.4GHz wireless standard. Powered by batteries to operate, the keyboard uses two AAAs, whereas the mouse makes use of two AAs.</p>			</div>
