Amazon to Release its Own Tablet this November

The release of Apple's iPad opened up a brand new computing segment, which until now Apple continues to dominate. Samsung and ASUS have been making some headway with their Android-based offerings, but nothing seems to beat the iPad at its price point. Quite recently, HP learned this the hard way with their doomed TouchPad and its proprietary webOS. Reuters reports that Amazon may have the answer, with rumors of a USD 250-worth 7-inch tablet to be released in November. So, what would make Amazon's rumored upcoming tablet so different?
The ace that Amazon has up its sleeve is its well-established content distribution, which is already selling Apps through its mobile Appstore, not to mention its huge library of music, movies and books, available through its USD 79/year Amazon Prime program. You can bet that HardwareZone will keep you posted as soon as official word gets out.
