Epson Launches New Projectors and Portable Label Printers in PH

At an event held in Davao City dubbed as ‘Fusion III’, Epson Philippines proudly unveiled its two new projector series. Featuring Epson’s new real-time automatic keystone correction, the EB-1700 ultraportable series and the EB-1900 full-featured series can automatically and instantly correct screen distortions and focus the projected image in real time no matter where they are placed, or when they are repositioned during the presentation. This feature eliminates setup time, ensures that the projected image is always a perfect rectangle, and enables presenters to fully concentrate on their presentations.

Other projector series that were introduced during the event include:

Leveraging on 3LCD technology, the Epson EB-Z8000/10000 Ultra Bright Series boasts of its intense luminance rating of up to 10,000 lumens. Projectors in this series are ideal for use in large venues in bright lighting conditions. The new projectors are also equipped with an edge-blending feature that enables multiple projectors to combine and display a panoramic image.

Thirty percent smaller than its predecessors, the Epson EB-400 ultra short throw projectors highlight Epson’s integrated interactive projector technology. An ideal replacement for blackboards or whiteboards, these projectors’ interactive function can work even without the assistance of a computer. The interactive UI of these projectors enables users to employ two digital pens at the same time.

Targeted at cost-minded customers, the Epson EB-S/X/W series allows consumers to choose the right projector for them with the right set of features and specifications that suits their limited budget. The models that fall under this category of projectors include the X15, EB-S11H, EB-X11H, and the EB-X14H.

Apart from projectors, Epson Philippines also launched the LabelWorks lineup, the company’s first series of portable label printers. Epson offers the LabelWorks printers with a range of affordable supplies with more than 30 different types of media to choose from.

Epson LabelWorks LW-300

• prints labels from 6 – 12mm
• equipped with 14 font types, 10 styles, 459 symbols, and 89 frames for unique customizations
• allows users to store up to 50 custom (3) designs for convenient reprinting of label designs

Epson Epson LabelWorks LW-400

• prints labels from 6 – 18mm
• equipped with 14 font types, 10 styles, 459 symbols, and 89 frames for unique customizations
• allows users to store up to 50 custom (3) designs for convenient reprinting of label designs

Epson LabelWorks LW-900P

• prints labels from 6 – 36mm
• can connect to a PC or Apple Mac OS computer to personalize and create larger labels

The Epson LabelWorks printers are virtually practical for a variety of applications in homes, SOHOs (small/home offices), and SMBs (small and medium businesses). The printers can be used on labeling household items, books, and documents. The LW-400 and the LW-900P can print barcodes for tracking inventories.
