Facebook will start showing ads in its videos, to share money with publishers
Facebook will now show ads in its videos, and will start making money for the people who posted it.
According to sources, Facebook will start testing a new ad format, and this format will give the video publishers the chance to insert ads into their clips after people have watched their video for at least 20 seconds. Facebook will sell the ads, and will share the revenue with publishers through giving them the 55 percent of all sales.
Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has not been allowing pre-roll video ads that run before the clip starts.
