GIGABYTE Unveils Winners of Its Xmas and New Year OC Competition

Late last year we announced that GIGABYTE and HWbot.org were organizing yet another overclocking competition, this time with an all-AMD cast. The contest ran from December 15 through January 31. Since it is now February, the winners have just been announced. Christian Ney from Switzerland took top honors, setting new world records in process. Mr. Ney now holds the record for the highest frequencies achieved on an AMD Llano platform: 1752.8MHz for memory and 6067.71MHz for CPU. All the winners used GIGABYTE's A75-UD4H motherboard. Christian Ney will take home a 990FXA-UD5 motherboard, while second and third places will be awarded a 990FXA-UD3 motherboard.
