HP Brings Converged Cloud Solutions to Asia Pacific and Japan
We were invited yesterday to HP's formal launch of the Converged Cloud solutions over at Intercontinental Hotel. The solution was mainly targeted for organizations that are located in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) to promote cloud adoption and simplify deployment, thus enhancing business innovation and agility as well.
To have a better grasp on the subject, James Jackson, vice president of Strategic Marketing and Solutions for HP Enterprise Group Marketing, explained a few elements concerning the Converged Cloud solutions. In order to keep pace with the changing business demands, enterprises in APJ are simply relying on cloud computing.
The new HP Converged Cloud offerings for APJ include HP CloudSystem Quick Start Kit and HP CloudSystem Solutions that are both built on the core element of the HP Converged Cloud portfolio. The CloudSystem Quick Start Kit helps organizations meet their specific business needs by providing a simple path to creating a tailored and a pre-configured cloud infrastructure. On the other hand, the HP CloudSystem Solutions combine HP CloudSystem Matrix, industry-leading applications, and HP Cloud Maps to deliver the fastest path to cloud enablement for applications on HP Converged Infrastructure. They are based on industry- and workload-specific applications which are critical for better agility of the company.
"Success depends on an organization's ability to rapidly respond to changing market and customer demands," said Aman Dokania, vice president and general manager, Cloud Solutions, Enterprise Group, HP Asia Pacific and Japan. "HP's unique approach of proactively engaging with partners to build an ecosystem is key to speeding our clients' shift to hybrid cloud models that provide the agility they need to innovate."
There are currently 15 CloudSystem Solutions available now in Asia Pacific and Japan.
