Imminent Launch of Wireless Charging Docks for Samsung Galaxy S III
When the Samsung Galaxy S III was announced in May, one of its unique features is its built-in inductive charging system that permits wireless charging. This capability may soon be put to a test when wireless charging docks from Zens become available. According to PocketNow, the wireless charging docks may be available by September but there are still no confirmation from Samsung or Zens regarding the actual launch date.

The battery cover from Zens come in marble white and teal blue to match the color of the Galaxy S III.

Though this feature may seem futuristic to some, the Galaxy S III is not the first phone to have wireless charging capability. Three years ago, a certain Pre Plus from Palm already has this feature integrated in the handset but it did not catch on and unfortunately, Palm has simply dwindled away.
