Intermec Introduces Specialized Scanner, Printers in PH

Intermec, through its local distribution partner MSI-ECS, has introduced a new handheld scanner and printers in the Philippines.

Intermec SG20

The SG20 scanner features the industry's fastest 2D imaging technology for responsive omnidirectional scanning and comes with a multicolor LED that confirms successful scanning. This scanner helps in reducing the time and effort needed to read a bar code by providing more than 50 times the motion tolerance of competitive scanners. Intermec offers the SG20 in different models: with either a 1D or a 2D high performance imager, and with either wired or wireless (Bluetooth) connectivity. The SG20 is ready to connect with point-of-sale systems, personal computers, healthcare information and warehouse management systems.

Intermec PC23d

Designed to meet the needs of healthcare organizations, the PC23d is a two-inch thermal printer which can be used for patient tracking, sample and bedside labeling, pharmacy and medical recordkeeping. The PC23d is equipped with either a universal Icon interface or color LCD in 10 languages for immediate notifications. It boasts the fastest print speed in its class at eight inches per second and has the ability to configure on the spot with a USB flash drive. Aside from USB, other connectivity options available on the PC23d include serial, parallel, Ethernet, and dual wireless card with Bluetooth and CCX-compliant 802.11 b/g/n. The PC23d is also available with HF RFID for tracking high-risk patients and valuable assets.

Intermec PC43d and PC43t

Hot on the heels of the PC23d are the PC43d and PC43t desktop printers which are available in 4-inch direct thermal and 4-inch thermal transfer types. They can accommodate the largest ribbon roll (up to 11,811in / 300m) in a desktop printer. The PC43d and PC43t desktop printers share similarities with the PC23d in terms of user interface, speed, and connectivity.

Intermec PM43 and PM43c

Falling under Intermec’s class of industrial midrange label printers, the metal-constructed PM43 and the more compact PM43c are designed for harsh industrial environments including transportation, manufacturing and distribution centers. They feature a unique full color touchscreen display with 10 languages or universal icons, and have a multilingual Web-based user interface. The PM43 and the PM43c connect to notebooks, smartphones, tablet computers, and Intermec’s handheld computers by using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet connection. With support for Precision Print, the PM43 and PM43c can print small barcodes, text, and images with pinpoint accuracy.

Intermec PR2 and PR3

Tipped as the smallest, lightest and most durable receipt printers in their class, the PR2 and the PR3 mobile receipt printers are useful in a variety of fields like direct store delivery (DSD) route accounting, field service, mobile point of sale, and electronic citation. The two-inch PR2 and three-inch PR3 mobile printers provide the ideal companion to Intermec’s broad portfolio of mobile computers with shared accessories and remote management capabilities. Compatible with Intermec’s FlexDock system, the PR2 and PR3 offer a new level of efficiency to docking and charging. These receipt printers are ready to connect to notebooks, smartphones, tablets, and Intermec’s handheld computers via Bluetooth, USB, or IrDA. These are the only printers that offer optional integrated PCI compatible MSR and AES encryption, enabling secure payment capture on the go. Other offerings in this category include the newly enhanced 6822 full-page printer and PW50 four-inch work board printer, which were upgraded to support on-board charging and an integrated vehicle mounting option for CN70 mobile computers.
