Next-Gen iPhone to Sport HD Camera?
Next-Gen iPhone to sport HD Camera?
According to a source, Apple's sixth-generation iPhone may be integrated with a front-facing camera capable of shooting with high definition resolution. Mingchi Kuo, KGI analyst, mentioned that Apple is expected to make "quite a few adjustments" to its next iPhone. Not only that, he also believes the company will add a flip-chip solution for the front-facing camera on the upcoming iPhone. Another interesting thing to note is that the camera's position might be situated in the middle.
On the other side of the phone, its rear camera might still retain the 8-megapixel resolution with the improvement of the aperture range up to f/2.2, according to Mr. Kuo. He also said that the rear camera will be noticeably thinner, "making it the most challenging iPhone design yet.".
For comparison of iPhone's previous rear cameras, refer to the table below.

Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone by September or October along with a rumored feature of a redesigned form factor and 4G LTE connectivity.
