Nikon D600: Rumored Full Frame DSLR

With D800 and D700 out in the market, rumors are spreading around about a cheaper and full frame DSLR from Nikon about to come out which will be called D600. Here are the preliminary specs:
- marketed as an entry-level full frame camera
- auto DX crop mode
- dual SD card slots
- in-camera Raw editor
- built-in time lapse functionality
- no built-in HDR feature
- possible integrated GPS
- new external battery grip
- to be released this summer
As of the moment, there are no definite megapixel count with the new camera. We might have to wait a little longer for it, but according to Nikon Rumors, information about products that will be released several months in the future are not very reliable. Although If this turns out to be true, it will change the whole dynamic in the Nikon product line.
