Samsung MultiView MV900F Has Wi-Fi, Puts Images Straight to Facebook and Twitter

Remember the Samsung MultiView MV800? Yes, that touchscreen camera blessed with smart features and a multiview display? Months after we reviewed the MV800, Samsung is releasing its successor, the MV900F, a new iteration with Wi-Fi connectivity. Additionally, the camera will have built-in tools that allows for direct uploading on Facebook and Twitter, unlike the Canon Digital IXUS 240 HS.
Wi-Fi is no longer a new feature among Samsung digital cameras. To recall, the Korean company has released the DV300F and the WB150F earlier this year.
The MV900F takes onboard a 16.3-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, F2.5 lens with 5x optical magnification, 3.3-inch AMOLED WVGA display, and can record full HD videos (1920 x 1080p). Although the MV800 and the MV900F share similarities in terms of design, the photo above suggests that the new MultiView camera does not use a Schneider-Kreuznach lens.
While local availability and pricing are not known at the moment, the MV900F is expected to hit US’ shelves next month for an estimated price of US$ 349.99.
