Spotlight on the Sony A99 - Specs Now Available
The specs of Sony A99, the first full-frame Single-Lens Translucent (SLT) camera, have been revealed on the Sony Alpha Rumors and Photo Rumors. According to their posts, Sony A99 will feature 24.3Mpx Full frame CMOS Exmor sensor, ISO of 100 and maximum of 25,600, 1/8000 maximum shutter speed, 10fps continuous shooting, 14-bit RAW output, and a 102-point AF system (11 cross). It will also show off an auto HDR capture with Full HD video recording at 1920×1080/60p AVCHD format that can output through a dedicated HDMI port.

Sony A99's translucent mirror lets it use phase detection auto-focus when recording a video, and taking photos in "live view" or continuous mode. It is expected to be outed on September 12 and be available by the end of October. Price is still undetermined as of the moment.
