Joining the wide range of portable speakers is Divoom's iTour Pop. It features an 18mm single speaker driver that projects 3.8 watts of output power, carrying a frequency range of 80Hz - 20kHz while weighing only 95 grams. In short, this device was really made for portability while providing decent audio quality.

The iTour Pop boasts its Extreme Bass Expansion (EBE) Technology which widens the sound field by simply extending the rear of the speaker or by "popping" it out. Another cool feature is its Monophonic Surround Stereo (MSS) System in which the singular speaker unit is integrated in the specially-designed speaker structure to reproduce surround stereo audio. We will expound further on the sound quality later on.

The speaker driver is housed in a plastic casing that resembles an alien spaceship. It has a built-in 500mAh battery that can last up to 4-6 hours and it can be recharged with the use of the USB cable that comes with the package.
 

Pop It For Added Bass

When the base is popped out, it creates more room for the bass giving it a more solid sound quality. On the other hand, playing music while it's popped in results in an almost bass-less audio quality.

After playing a couple of tracks on the device, we concluded that the iTour Pop can give out decent low kicks and even the mids and highs were projected clearly. Although like any other single-driver speakers, when we juiced up the volume to the maximum level, distortion started to become audible. It has no settings of any kind like EQ or even volume control so it all depends on what device you're using to play music. The iTour Pop's MSS System helps spread the music in a small room by throwing the sound at a wider range compared to other single-driver speakers.

Pop It For Portability

We can say that Divoom iTour Pop is handy if you're travelling and you want to share your music with a small group of people. Priced locally at PhP 1,080, it's a cheap but good acquisition if you prefer to just relax and listen to decent quality music but if you're a picky audiophile, this might prove to be a bit simple for your taste.
