During Sennheiser's latest product launch, we received a new pair of headphones that is now the subject of this article, the Sennheiser HD 229. It is an on-ear dynamic headset that features the same specifications as the Sennheiser HD 228, but with a fresher and funkier look. The HD 229 comes in two different colors: orange on white and pink on black. Let's take a look at the headphones' physique before we go to the sound quality.

Weighing only 92grams, the Sennheiser HD 229 is very light since almost everything is made of plastic. We were surprised that the material isn't as flimsy as we'd expect it to be. In fact, the plastic gives off a good bend. It's not the kind of crispy plastic material that easily breaks when force is applied. It also employs neodymium magnets for powerful stereo sound.
