ALTUS Digital Capital opens headquarters in PH, energizes digitalization in Southeast Asia
Digitalization in Southeast Asia brings benefits to consumers and businesses alike – time, savings, lowered cost of goods and services, clearer and more accurate consumer information, and new forms of social entertainment among others. However, there are pitfalls and challenges to reach the full expression and promise of digitalization. Many of these pain points introduce problems that are new to the region, and therefore need homegrown solutions.
Dedicated to overcome these pain points and addressing innovation from a home-grown perspective, ALTUS Digital Capital (ADC) has unveiled its headquarters in Southeast Asia (SEA) located in Makati City. The company also revealed its plans for innovation in the country and SEA.
Becoming a catalyst in accelerating the process of digitalization in emerging markets, ADC is a new breed of Owner-Operator Private Equity firm established and managed in SEA. It combines its financial and human capital and deep digital know-how to partner with both native digital companies and offline companies in need of digital expression.
ADC has made three significant investments in 2016 and is in varying stages of closing three more in 2017. The company works in the fintech, e-commerce, and TMT sectors.
