Buffalo Launches TeraStation 5000 Series

 

A new series of high performance network storage solutions was announced by Buffalo. The TeraStation 5000 series is equipped with Intel Atom D2550 dual-core processor providing supercharged performance while offering an array of business class features like iSCI, replication and failover support and SoleraTec Phoenix RSM, a video asset management solution.

"By reducing the complexity and cost of traditional IP video surveillance storage and asset management, the TeraStation 5000 series eliminates many of the barriers businesses face when implementing and running IP-based surveillance," said Matt Dargis, senior director of sales at Buffalo Technology. "This launch proves once again our dedication to delivering high performance solutions that serve the needs of our customers and our commitment to the SMB market."

By utilizing its dual-core 1.86 GHz processor and 2 GB DDR3 RAM, the TeraStation 5000 series can run many services simultaneously while also offering a video surveillance asset management platform that allows you to record high quality video, store, and manage it for easy access and playback.
