DTC Launching Budget GT6 Astroid Jack and GT9 Pump Android Phones Tomorrow
Tomorrow, June 27, DTC is set to launch two new affordable Android smartphones, namely the GT6 Astroid Jack and the GT9 Pump.
The GT6 Astroid Jack is powered by a single-core MTK6515 processor that runs at 1GHz clock and coupled with 256MB RAM. In front, the smartphone flaunts a 4-inch touchscreen with WVGA resolution, providing adequate responsiveness on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) OS. The GT6 Astroid Jack comes with 512MB onboard storage which can be expanded up to 32GB through a microSD card. The smartphone captures still photos and videos with its 2-megapixel camera. For the price of PhP 3,290, the GT6 Astroid Jack is bundled with a 2000mAh battery module, silicon case, and a screen protector, in addition to other usual accessories.
Going beyond the specifications of the GT6 Astroid Jack, the dual-SIM GT9 Pump comes with a dual-core 1.2GHz MTK6517 processor and 512MB RAM. This smartphone sports a 5-inch touchscreen with WVGA resolution and is equipped with a 2500mAh battery module. In terms of imaging, the GT9 Pump features a 5-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. Like the GT6 Astroid Jack, the GT9 Pump integrates 512MB onboard storage that is 32GB expandable via a microSD card. With a better set of specifications, the GT9 Pump is properly priced at PhP 5,290.
