Epson Honors Winners of Color Imaging Contest 2011

Epson Philippines recently concluded the Epson Color Imaging Contest (CIC) 2011 through an awarding ceremony that was held at the Cyberzone of SM City North EDSA in Quezon City. With the theme “Beautiful Philippines”, participants of CIC 2011 captured still photos that showcase the country’s beauty through its natural resources and people. CIC 2011 ran from November 1 to December 31 last year and was hosted on Facebook, gathering a total of 445 entries.

Led by its Country Manager Hideto Nakamura, Epson Philippines awarded the first prize to Randall Cipriano for his work “Light Unseen”. Cipriano received a cash prize worth US$ 1,500, an Epson Stylus Photo R1390, and and all-expense-paid trip to the CIC 2011 exhibition in Taipei to represent the country.

The second prize went to Don Clavo De Comer for his photo titled “Fishermen”. De Comer received US$ 1,000 and an Epson L800 photo printer as prizes. The third prize was bagged by Luisito Cleofas for his entry "Majestic Mayon Volcano", through which he won a US$ 500 cash prize and an Epson PictureMate PM310. De Comer’s and Cleofas’ works will be showcased in Taipei as well.
