Epson Philippines Announces New Country Manager

After a six-year term as Epson Philippines Corporation’s (EPC) Country Manager, Hideto Nakamura will be assuming a new post in the global headquarters at Seiko-Epson Corporation (SEC) in Japan. Nakamura, the longest-serving Japanese executive in EPC’s history, will be replaced by Toshimitsu Tanaka. Tanaka previously served as the General Manager of Imaging Products Sales & Marketing Support Department for Imaging Products at the Sales and Marketing Center of SEC. Tanaka has 32 years of experience working in Epson’s global headquarters and affiliate companies.

During his term, Nakamura played a significant role in improving relationships among trade partners, distributors, and dealers. Under his leadership, EPC posted a double-digit growth in both inkjet printer and projector businesses in the Philippines. With these achievements, Nakamura helped in strengthening Epson’s regional sales operations, in line with the directions of SEC and Epson’s Regional Headquarters in Singapore
