Globe myBusiness, AdSpark launch latest digital marketing trends at DigPH 2016
Geared to break barriers and empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Globe myBusiness and Globe Digital Advertising (AdSpark), together with Shopify, filled this year’s digital marketing summit, DigPH 2016, with bigger and better ideas.
We first heard of DigPH in early 2015, when Globe myBusiness and AdSpark teamed up with Google to promote the first digital marketing convention in the Philippines. Now bigger and better, DigPH 2016 aims to provide a more extensive lineup of speakers and forums suited for entrepreneurs.
Bella Gupta D'Souza, Director for AdSpark, said that “less than 14 percent of businesses in the Philippines are online.”
With DigPH 2016, which features case studies, digital business tools, and practical tips, more businesses can learn and discover the latest trends in digital solutions to expand their online footprint. To make the design process, as well as consultation process, a lot easier, Gupta D'Souza hinted that it will soon launch Advertisers Needs Analysis.
E-commerce platform, Shopify, for one, is set to help entrepreneurs expand their businesses. Shopify offers solutions for businesses who want to have an online presence. Starting with a customized website, with a simple user interface where business owners can embed flyers, photos, and videos, coupled with interesting features such as loyalty ratings, reviews, social account integration, and live chat, entrepreneurs can easily set up their businesses online.
Shopify can be bundled with DigiAds or online advertising packages that will help businesses create appropriate online content for their target market. Specialty store, Craft Carrot, is one example of a local enterprise that is now on Shopify.
