High-end watchmaker Montblanc reveals its first luxury smartwatch
The Germany-based Montblanc has revealed its first luxury smartwatch, the Summit.
The high-end device is expected to run on Android Wear 2.0, and will sport a 1.39-inch 400 x 400 AMOLED display. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip, it has 512MB of RAM, and 4GB storage.
The Summit will sport an IP68 water resistance rating certification, and will have built-in features like a heart rate monitor, microphone, and barometer. However, it won’t have other features like NFC chip, no support for cellular connections, and no GPS.
It will be available in May in the U.S. and U.K., and will have a starting price of USD 890.
