HP's Folio 13 Ultrabook Lands In The Philippines

The HP Folio 13 is now available for Php55,990.

When it comes to PCs, Hewlett-Packard has always been at the top of the heap, and so it's only natural that they join Intel's Ultrabook club. At a special gathering of the local media and its channel partners in the Hotel InterContinental Makati, HP Philippines held the local debut of the company's first Ultrabook, the Folio 13. Admittedly, it is a little late to the party, as other PC makers like ASUS, Acer and Lenovo have long since offered Ultrabook models of their own. HP has made it worth the wait however, as the Folio 13 edges out the competition with the inclusion of a full-sized HDMI port and Ethernet port. Even though this is HP's base Ultrabook model, it comes standard with a 128GB SSD, 4GB of RAM and an Intel Core i5 CPU. It is now available in all HP resellers for Php55,990. The new Ultrabook from HP measures in at 0.75 inches (19.05mm) thin and weighs 1.49kg (3.28 lbs). It comes with full-sized HDMI and Ethernet ports, plus a USB 3.0 port.

The Folio 13 also has a backlit keyboard and has a claimed battery life of 9.5 hours.
