HTC Beefing Up with One X+, Rumors Suggest

HTC One X is showing signs of getting a hardware revamp and a minor processor upgrade with the rumored HTC One X+. According to reports, HTC One X+ might be powered by a new Tegra 3+ processor, which will result to an increased clock speed of 1.7GHz. According to the newly-leaked information, the rumored HTC One X+ will use a 1.7GHz quad-core SoC. It is also said that battery enhancements will be made for the purported smartphone however no detailed information, whether a new power management scheme or a better battery will be used, is available.

Aside from the hardware improvements, new apps are also said to be made available for the coming smartphone. These new apps include the HTC Watch 2 for seamless video streaming and ClearVoice for enhanced call communication.

HTC One X came to have the codename Endeavor and due to this, information leaks indicate that the rumored HTC One X+ might have the codename Endeavor C2. There is an online buzz that HTC One X+ might be launched on October 1, which shows to be in accordance with T-Mobile's roadmap revelation of September 26.
