HTC Sensation Lineup to Receive ICS Update by End of March

While a lot of rumors about HTC’s future smartphones, the Edge and the Ville, have been spilled long before MWC 2012, here is a piece of fact that the Taiwan-based handset vendor has confirmed. On their official Facebook account, HTC has announced that it will roll out an Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) update for select smartphone models. Smartphones that are on the list which will receive the ICS update by the end of March include:

• HTC Sensation
• HTC Sensation 4G
• HTC Sensation XE
• HTC Sensation XL

But wait, there’s more. The following handsets will also receive an ICS update at a later date:

• HTC Rezound
• HTC Vivid
• HTC Amaze 4G
• HTC EVO 3D
• HTC EVO Design 4G
• HTC Incredible S
• HTC Desire S
• HTC Desire HD

HTC has promised to provide us with new developments regarding the release of upcoming ICS updates in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
