Huawei Ascend Y200 Smartphone Hits Sub-6K Price Mark
Huawei has added a new member to its family of affordable Android smartphones in the form of the Ascend Y200. Clad in a U-shaped, rounded and textured body, the Ascend Y200 packs a 3.5-inch touchscreen display in front and carries a 3.2-megapixel camera on its back. The Gingerbread-powered smartphone come with an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7225A processor and has a 1250mAh battery module. The combination of a fast processor and optimized Android OS makes the Ascend Y200 boot in just 5 seconds. Recharging time is not also bad, completing the entire cycle in 90 minutes. The Ascend Y200 offers HSDPA and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n as options for Internet connectivity. Other features of the smartphone include Bluetooth 2.1, accelerometer, GPS/AGPS, and a card slot that can accommodate up to 32GB of microSD-based storage. Huawei intends to offer it in the Philippines at the price of PhP 5,490.
