Microsoft announces new country general manager for PH
Microsoft Philippines announced the appointment of Hans Bayaborda starting on December 5, as the country’s new Managing Director/Country General Manager, taking over Bertrand Launay, who served the interim.
Hans joins the Microsoft Asia Pacific from HPE, where he served as the Country General Manager of Hewlett Packard Philippines Corporation, and was responsible for growing the business and building organizational capabilities and talents.
At Microsoft, Hans is responsible for delivering Microsoft’s overall business growth, and its leadership and vision through solutions and services that span security, intelligence, cloud, productivity, and communications to help customers realize their digital transformation objectives.

An industry veteran for more than 20 years, Hans has extensive experience in the telecommunications and IT industries, and has served in leadership positions in various large organizations, including Oracle, Bayantel, Globe, and Smart Communications.
