New Dell Vostro 3450 Lets You Throttle Graphics On The Go

Apart from the latest Intel Core "Sandy Bridge" processors, Bluetooth 3.0, fast DDR3 memory, the new 14-inch Vostro 3450 business laptop from Dell features technologies that are designed to ensure optimum performance and operability. First off is AMD's Switchable Graphics. What this does is automatically switch from the AMD Radeon HD 6630M dedicated GPU to the Intel HD 3000 chip onboard, when the system is performing lighter tasks. This lowers power consumption considerably and therefore extends battery life. Another notable feature is the HD webcam with noise-cancelling microphones with SRS Premium Voice Pro software, which should be great for video conferences with colleagues.
