PowerColor Doubles Performance with Dual Core Design of the HD6870X2

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - TUL has announced their very first dual GPU graphics card with the BART XT graphics engine: the PowerColor HD6870X2. Powered by a dual graphics engine, the PowerColor HD6870X2 delivers groundbreaking performance and takes the game to the next level, providing an unprecedented gaming experience.

The PowerColor HD6870X2 has 2240 stream processing units and 4.03 teraFLOP’s of computing power. Its core speed is rated at 900MHz, while its memory speed is rated at 1050MHz. This high level of  performance allows the HD6870X2 to easily tackle even the most demanding game titles.

Furthermore, the HD6870X2 takes advantage of Heat Pipe Direct Touch (HDT) technology. The new graphics card integrates six pieces of flattened heatpipes that directly cover the GPU, which allows 50 times more heat dissipation than a regular copper base.

The HD6870X2 is also equipped with a “Platinum Power Kit” composed of a 13-phase PWM, ferrite core choke, and DrMos. These superior components provide the card with an ultra stable platform and better power efficiency.
