Screenshots of an Upcoming Firefox OS for Smartphones

We came across with some new screenshots of Mozilla's upcoming mobile HTML5 OS that was said to come early next year. These were posted on Technical Evangelist for Mozilla, Robert Nyman's Twitter account.

While Nyman has mentioned that the OS is still in development and these screenshots do not reflect the end product, we see huge similarities between existing OSes like iOS and Android. As GSMArena pointed out, "iOS influence in the homescreen UI and some Android influence in the settings app and notification drawer" are obvious.
