Solid Sound Quality Comes with Pioneer’s New Headphones for Musicians

Pioneer will be providing a new series of headphones that are designed for professional DJs and musicians. The HDJ-1500 sports a paired 50mm drivers embedded in sound insulating casings with air chambers to reduce the sound by 4dB and help hear the intended mix. The ear cups are held by magnesium alloy carriers making them sturdy.

The headphones will come in either black or a satin silver and black combination.  Frequency response ranges from 5Hz to 30,000Hz, impedance is 32 ohms, and sensitivity is 180dB. Creating the full range output are CCAW voice coils.

It was priced at 18,000 yen (around PhP 9,000) but as of the moment, Pioneer has not yet said as to when they will begin shipping the headphones.
