VueCube 4GTV Arrives in Singapore

Vue Networks announced today the commencement of VueCube 4GTV Broadcast Trials over 4G network. The trial will be bringing the concept of TV Anywhere to Singapore.

The 4GTV Broadcast Trial follows the awarding of a Niche IPTV License to Vue Networks by the Media Development Authority of Singapore.

The Broadcast Trial will kick-off with multiple channels including 24/7 streaming, VOD and 3D content broadcasting over the ZiiMAX high speed 4G network. ZiiMAX is the 4G WiMAX service of QMax Communications Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd.

“We are very excited to be a part of the 4GTV Broadcast Trial. We believe that the high speed and high capacity offered by the 4G network will change the face of entertainment consumption,” added Lian Yam Fei, Director of Technology, QMax Communications Pte Ltd.

With MIMO technology, 4G WiMAX offers wider coverage and enables smooth content delivery. The objective of the VueCube Broadcast Trial will be to assess and finalise the technical infrastructure necessary to provide consumers with unrivalled entertainment on the move.

The public will be able to get a sneak preview of VueCube’s 4GTV on Creative’s ZiiO tablets exclusively at the Creative PlayChinese Expo from 11th to 20th March at Creative Resource.
