The key new introductions for the day are the ZTE Light Tab 2 V9A tablet and the ZTE Skate 4.3H. Both devices are based on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

The ZTE Light Tab 2 V9A is a 7-inch tablet that offers Dolby Sound technology at a wallet-friendly price of PhP 15,490. Running on a 1.4GHz Qualcomm CPU, its 402-gram weight and compact size make it a handy mobile computer for basic computing and content consumption use.

The ZTE Skate 4.3H currently leads the pack of ZTE's initial wave of mobile phone offerings for the Philippine market. It is also claimed to be the most affordable 4.3-inch smartphone. Equipped with a 4.3-inch 480 x 800 display, 5-megapixel camera, and a 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, it offers a high quality smartphone experience at just PhP 13,990.
Aside from the above flagship devices, ZTE also introduced two more affordable smartphones based on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, namely, the elegantly designed 3.5-inch ZTE Kis V788 (PhP 7,490) and the dual-SIM ZTE Mimosa Mini V856 (PhP 5,390). Last but not least, ZTE hinted at even more exciting Android devices slated for release in the coming months. Included in the road map for the Philippine market is the dual-core ZTE Grand X V970M and the quad-core ZTE Era.
