Scientists Offer 3Gbps Internet from a Ceiling Lamp
Scientists at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) have developed a new means of high-speed data transmission using LED lightbulbs. This new technology has seen transmission speeds in laboratory experiments of over 1 Gbps, with theoretical speeds of up to 3 Gbps possible.
