Yellow Cab Pizza Co., a brand famous for its 18-inch New-York style pizzas, has awarded PhP 20,000 to each of the 20 winners for their #NoStoppingTheHungry Campaign on November 25, 2017 at the Yellow Cab Burgos Eats, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The pizza company believes that at every core of every human being is a hunger waiting to be fueled. The #NoStoppingTheHungry campaign that started a month ago, takes a step further on fueling not only people’s physical hunger but also their hunger for greatness.

Eight hungry influencers that include: the legendary rock band, Up Dharma Down (UDD); electro-pop musician Skymarines; Fliptop founder Anygma, Ron Poe of P&P tattoo; Mark Javellana of Philippine Wrestling Revolution (PWR), Eric Giganto of KAYA Futbol Club; and streetwear & lifestyle brand Don’t Blame The Kids (DBTK) founders Vince and Emil Javier were introduced by Yellow Cab.

Yellow Cab called out to the public to join Pitch Your Hunger–an online contest where anyone can submit their 3-second video entries that presents their burning passions. Over 100 pitches were received by the Yellow Cab Facebook page that showcased the different things these people were hungry for–film, music, entrepreneurship, fashion, charitable causes, family-member medications, and more.

“It is amazing to know that there are a lot of people who are just needing a platform to voice their hunger. We, as a brand, are very ecstatic to fuel their hunger,” said Mark De Joya, Yellow Cab’s Brand Development Director.

Only 30 made it to the finals and were able to pitch their hungers live in front of the eight hungry influencers. The 30 finalists had only 30-seconds to convince the influencers why they are the hungriest and why they deserve to win.

The top 20 winners out of 30 finalists were awarded PhP 20,000 each #HungerGrant by Yellow Cab in support of continuing their passion projects. All entries can be viewed at Yellow Cab’s microsite.
