The first-ever The North Face (TNF) Outdoor Challenge took place at the Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC) in Pili, Camarines Sur on November 18, 2017, wherein over 500 athletes from around the archipelago hit the famous watersports landmark for an afternoon full of excitement and adrenaline.

The sporting event featured three massive and lengthy race categories that unleash the surviving beast in anyone ranging from fitness and outdoor enthusiasts, runners, mountain climbers, hikers, and athletes: 11KM team, 11KM individual (both with 7 challenge stations), and 22KM team (with 12 challenge stations).  These comprised of the heady combination of mixed-terrain obstacles that involves mud-crawling, rock climbing, and fallen tree hurdles to name a few; reflecting the province of Camarines Sur’s relatively uncharted eco landscape that has become the ideal venue for TNF Outdoor Challenge.
