A close encounter with the latest bags from Moshi
Moshi has always been a brand associated with various Apple-related accessories. However, as its direction becomes more geared toward tapping the lifestyle of different consumer types, Moshi witnessed the expansion of its product line which now includes trendy travel bags. In our recent, productive trip to Taipei, Taiwan for the annual Computex, we momentarily veered away from the hustle and bustle of the exhibition halls to visit Moshi's cozy office, inside Cathay Landmark (one of the tallest buildings in Taipei) where the folks there introduced us to some of the brand's latest stylish satchels.
Starting off with the Moshi Vacanza, this travel bag is made of ultra-light, weather-resistant fabric with vegan leather accents. Coming with a capacious main compartment, the Vacanza also features a padded section that can accommodate laptops with up to 15-inch screens. The bag also includes a crush-resistant front pocket for sunglasses and other delicate items as well as a reusable wet/dry bag for storing damp clothes. Adding convenience to users are Moshi's very own ViscoStrap that alleviates shoulder strain and a rear trolley strap compatible with rolling luggage handles.
The more compact Moshi Costa shares similarities with the Vacanza, featuring ViscoStrap, a weather-resistant exterior, a crush-resistant front section, a rear trolley strap, and padded compartments that can store electronic devices such as cameras, headphones, tablets, and notebook PCs with up to 15-inch display size.
Coming with a water-repellent coating, the Moshi Urbana is a timely must-have for the rainy season. Sporting a slim profile and light weight, it is also equipped with ViscoStrap which reduces shoulder strain and has fully padded compartments that can accommodate tablets and laptops with 13- to 15-inch screen sizes.
The last but not the least, the Moshi Lula flaunts a weather-resistant exterior made of sophisticated twill with vegan leather accents. Coming with a removable shoulder strap, the Lula can transform from a shoulder bag into a stylish handbag that can hold daily essentials, from an iPhone to an iPad mini. It also features an RFID pocket for personal data protection.
